Introduction: What are you going to do?

And that’s when it all really begins… your new life with a baby!

During pregnancy, more and more people prepare themselves well for childbirth. But the period after birth is often overlooked. So, what exactly happens? That’s what we’re going to teach you in this course. We take you from the first hours after birth to the months afterwards. Everything is covered…

So, how do you take care of your baby? How do you get to know your child? How do you ensure the best recovery after childbirth? We’ll talk about breastfeeding and formula feeding, but also discuss what the essentials are to have at home and what’s not as important and talk about very important issues like: How do you get to know yourself in this new role as a father or mother? What will change in your relationships? We want to give you answers to these and countless other questions. With ‘A baby… now what?’ we hope that you feel less overwhelmed in those first months with your baby because you prepared well.

“Every birth has its wisdom…”

Follow this course at your own pace. We’ve created a division of chapters that feels logical to us, but it’s not necessary to stick to it. Take a look at what feels comfortable for you and your partner. Each lesson contains explanations in text and video, and sometimes you will find an assignment or an audio file. We’ve also included some interesting, in-depth expert podcasts developed especially for this course.

We address you as ‘you’, but the course is absolutely suitable to do with your partner. This is even recommended. With many topics, you are asked to think and talk about the topic together after the video or text. Taking the course together ensures that you will form an even stronger team and that you will soon be able to enjoy that (hopefully) pink cloud even more.

Always bring a notebook and pen, because sometimes we will ask you to write down some things. Plus, you will probably want to take notes.

Enjoy the ride!
